People go missing for many reasons. Some want to disappear, some have their freedom taken. To lay blame is easy, the reality is the people need finding, or in some cases to let their family know their fine and not in danger.
(Where to turn) Perhaps a specialized unit dedicated to finding those who are missing. Trackers, using all available technology to pursue the truth to each case. Blaming the Gardai is silly. At the heart of most things is money, who pays?
(Responsibility) What importance is placed on missing people. It is difficult to strategize for the varying circumstances surrounding each case. I know if a member of my own disappeared, my life would be consumed by my desire to find them. Nothing be it physical or financial would intervene in my pursuit to find the truth.
(Conclusion) There is none. I can only speculate on the emotions felt by those on this website.

i believe that there is only one suspect for the missing women in Leinster.. it fustrates me to see that the gardai havent the proper resources in this day and age to properly investigate the men woman and children who are missing...how many more have to go missing before this country will open its eyes and get the necessary equipment and resources!!!
no one knows how much heartache and grief families and friends of the misssing person go through everyday till it comes knocking on their door!

I got the link through a taxi forum soa .i think a good idea would be to ask dublin city council to allow portable notice boards to be placed on the taxi ranks around the cities with photos of missing .i would have emailed this suggestion but i see the spammers are messing you about

i heard about this website from spin 103, where there was a discussion of missing persons...particularly fiona pender. i just want to say that the families of these missing persons will not give up hope that they will one day be found.

I didn't even know that this website existed until I heard Fr. Aquinas speaking on Radio Kerry this morning 14/05/2008.
I just wanted to say that I admire so much what you are trying to do,at least it gives relatives of those missing some hope. I pray that you will all hear some news of your loved ones soon.

Hello, i was a kid in the 1990's i remember well the young women who went missing in leinster. i wish they were found they have been missing for so many years now. i think about those young women and there families they have suffered so much over the past years they are so strong and brave. i hope Fiona Pender is found at last and she can rest in peace there is always hope never give up. what these women went through was tough.
you are always in my thoughts will always be remembered should never be forgotten.
